Step 2: Break Off The Stem of the Apple
This exposes a natural ‘bowl’ or dip in the apple.
Step 3: Carve Out The Bowl
A ballpoint pen works great for this. Remove the ink and the tip of the pen so it becomes a hollow plastic tube.
Using your new tool, poke a hole from the ‘bowl’ of the apple where you removed the stem to about the middle of the apple.
Step 4: Make a Mouthpiece and Carb
Next, poke a secondary hole perpendicular to the initial hole. You want the second hole to go in one side of the apple and come out the other while intersecting with the initial hole to create airflow.Â
One side of the second hole will function as a mouthpiece and the other will function as a carb. The carb will allow you to regulate airflow while smoking.
Step 5: Smoke Out of Your Apple Pipe
Voila! You are good to go. Now, just pack the bowl where the stem used to be, spark up, and enjoy!
